Rosé
Description
Barrel fermented and aged sur lie with bâtonnage for nearly a year. A rosé of structure and tension, finishing long and saline. Caesar salad, sushi. Poolside or white tablecloth.
Rosé is often defined by freshness, bright fruit and an easy sense of lightness. Birdland takes this familiar style further. The wine has the precision and energy expected of a rosé, but also the depth, texture and length usually associated with more serious wines.
Its character comes from the Seewinkel. Abundant sunlight gives the grapes ripeness, while wind and saline soils bring freshness and a subtle savoury edge. Careful work in the cellar preserves this sense of place and gives the wine both clarity and structure.
This balance makes the Birdland rosé remarkably versatile. It is refreshing enough for warm afternoons, yet complex enough to accompany food and hold its own at the table.
Much like the Seewinkel itself, the wine combines natural elegance with a depth and complexity that leave a lasting impression.
